We recognize that every pair of scissors are truly unique and therefore offer a bespoke service tailored to you and your prized possessions. We have been in the Dog Grooming industry for many years so we understand just how important our tools are and how they need to perform. No two pairs of scissors are the same and each require a different service to ensure they are in top condition, sharp and well balanced. We focus on only Dog Grooming scissors and Hairdressing Scissors as these require such precision, skill and finesse to Service, Also because we are so passionate at how important these tools really are. All of our machines and tools are imported from USA as these generally are the GOLD standard in sharpening here in the UK. We are fully trained, insured and are here to truly give you the BEST edge on your scissors.
We Service all Grooming scissors including left handed, and all Hair dressing scissors.
We offer a pick up and drop of service for a nominal fee* (3miles). Or we can arrange a suitable time for you to drop off and pick up at our location if you prefer.

Dog Grooming Scissors
Welcome to your new go-to place for the Servicing and sharpening of all your Dog Grooming Scissors. With over 5 years of experience in grooming ourselves, we have deep knowledge and understanding of how our tools need to perform. So here at Mr. Pawfect Sharpening we aim to make sure your scissors cut flawlessly and feel just right. Our special advantage lets us test both left and right-handed scissors on-site in our own salon, ensuring exceptional results.

We Service all scissor types including Full / Semi convex, Beveled, Serrated and we can re-serrate if this has previously been removed.

Just like ours your Scissors are the very lifeblood of your Business and we understand how important it is to have a sharp blade and well balanced Sheer.

All Scissor prices include a full scissor service.
What is a scissor service?
our full scissor service includes the following:
Inspection of the full scissor,
Sharpening,
Polish,
Restore/ Repair of Rideline and Serration (if required)
Full Testing of Scissor.
*extra charges apply for Re-serration if this was previously removed.
*All our Grooming Scissors are fully tested in our onsite Grooming salon to ensure satisfaction. We are able to test both Left and Right handed scissors.
*Hairdressing scissors are tested through industry standard techniques. .
Damaged Scissors:
Please understand that some scissors may not be serviceable if the blades are severely damaged, often dropped scissors require re-aligning or bending of the handle, This can be very risky and could snap the blade or handles, therefore we may politely decline scissors we don't feel comfortable repairing if we feel the damage it too excessive.
(We cannot be held responsible for this kind of damage if we carry out a repair as the scissor was already compromised by the damage.)

Cash, Card, Apple pay, Google pay, Bank Transfer, Payment link.

*All bank Transfer and Payment links must be paid before collection.
*We don't carry cash so cash payments must be exact.
Please test your scissors at your earliest convivence, if you are unhappy with the Service please do contact us as soon as you can so we can re service at no extra cost. (Within 5 days).
